VOLUNTEER

GET INVOLVED: VOLUNTEER AT THE MANSION

As a nonprofit, the operations of the Harwelden Mansion would not be the vibrant organization it is without volunteers. We offer training sessions throughout the year and have a variety of opportunities available. Volunteers of the Mansion are often the public face of the mansion.

Volunteers at the Harwelden Mansion can take part in several ways. The most popular option is to receive training as a docent. Docents act as room, garden, and mansion stewards on guided tours and have a desire to learn about Tulsa’s history, the mansion’s architecture and the Harwell family; the original owners. Other ways volunteers can help are to assist with special events and programs, customer relations, archive work, and to offer administrative support.
