Just next door to the Woody Guthrie Center lies another icon, the Bob Dylan Center, a treasure trove for fans of the legendary singer-songwriter. Home to an impressive collection of artifacts, rare recordings, and memorabilia, the center provides an in-depth look into the life and career of Bob Dylan. Delve into his evolution as an artist, his influences, and his impact on music and culture. Interactive exhibits and immersive displays make this center a must-visit for anyone with a passion for music history. A recreation of a studio mixing board in The Church Studio gallery will give visitors the chance to “listen in” on recording sessions for five different Dylan tracks, and be able to manipulate the playback to isolate individual instruments and voices. Complete your musical journey with a visit to The Church Studio, a historic recording studio with a legacy that spans decades. Founded by Leon Russell, in the 70s, this studio has played host to countless legendary musicians, resulting in some of the most iconic recordings in music history. Step into the same space where artists like Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, and Leon Russell himself created magic. Today, The Church Studio is an active recording studio and hosts artists from all over the world. In addition to being a recording studio, docent-led tours are available for the general public Monday-Friday from 10am to 3pm.
