Reservations must be canceled by 3 p.m. CST 14 days in advance to avoid a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the stay. If canceled more than 14 days prior to check-in, the total paid will be fully refunded minus a 10% processing fee.

Due to our small size, cancellations greatly affect us. Therefore, we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. Check-out is at 11 a.m. *Early check-ins are based upon availability for an upcharge. We offer guests complimentary luggage storage. 

While we adore animals as much as you do, we regret to say that as a cultural site we do not allow pets inside of our historical property including for overnight guests. We do, however, offer a membership program for neighbors that grants them and their pets access to our gated grounds for morning walks.

We have 4 luxury king suites in the main mansion and two, 2-bedroom suites in the carriage house. The hotel also features a catering kitchen dining room, garden room, cedar meditation room, and family board game room.

Harwelden is wheelchair accessible including an entrance ramp and elevator that goes from the lower level to the 2nd-floor suites. One room, the Dogwood Suite, is accessible–sink and shower–to persons with disabilities. Please contact the Harwelden for more information.

The Harwelden provides a quaint breakfast basket that is delivered to your suite between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. It is filled with locally sourced pastries (made fresh that day), jams, trail mix, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt, bars, champagne, and orange juice. 

The property is located in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma overlooking the Arkansas River. Situated in the Maple Ridge historic neighborhood, the hotel is just north of the world-renowned Gathering Place and south of downtown Tulsa. Harwelden has free on-site parking for overnight guests. Additional parking is available on the street and the Harwelden also owns a parking lot on the southwest corner of 21st and Main Street.

Tulsa International Airport is 10 miles away/13-minute drive. Tulsa Riverside Airport is 9 miles away and Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City is 114 miles away. 

You may rent the venue for a private event. The outdoor veranda, front drive, and main level of the mansion can all be rented at an hourly rate. Please contact the Harwelden for more information.

Yes. Harwelden Mansion is a smoke-free and vape-free property. As a historic national landmark, we follow the best practices set forth by the National Parks Service. The nonsmoking policy pertains to all indoor spaces, guest rooms, and outdoor grounds.  A mitigation fee plus a $500 penalty will be charged if smoking is discovered.
